A branded digital home
SOMA launched HN Barber Studio on its own official domain: hnbarberstudio.com
The experience was designed to feel premium and contemporary while staying simple enough for customers who may not be highly technical.
SOMA designed and launched a connected digital system for HN Barber Studio—helping customers discover the studio, understand its artists, choose the right service, and move directly into the right booking channel.

HN Barber Studio already had the difficult part: talented professionals, distinct personalities, specialized services, and a strong in-person experience.
The challenge was that the digital experience did not yet make that value easy to discover, understand, or act on.
SOMA approached the project as a customer-journey problem—not simply a web-design problem.
A potential customer might discover HN through Google, Instagram, a referral, or one of its individual barbers.
But discovery alone doesn't create a booking.
Customers still needed answers:
HN's artists also used different booking methods. Some use Fresha, while others communicate directly through phone or WhatsApp.
Trying to force every barber into the same booking workflow would have created friction instead of solving it.
The real challenge wasn't building pages. It was organizing discovery, trust and booking into one understandable system.
SOMA mapped the experience as a sequence of decisions.
Every major part of the HN experience was designed to support one of these stages.

SOMA launched HN Barber Studio on its own official domain: hnbarberstudio.com
The experience was designed to feel premium and contemporary while staying simple enough for customers who may not be highly technical.
Each HN professional received a dedicated profile designed around their actual services, personality, schedule and verified contact information.
Instead of treating the team as interchangeable, the experience allows each artist to maintain an individual identity inside the larger HN brand.
Booking was not reduced to one generic button.
Customers are routed according to the artist's verified booking method—including Fresha, WhatsApp and direct contact where appropriate.
This preserved the way each barber already operates while making the customer experience easier to understand.
The site helps customers understand which artists provide specific services—from cuts and beard work to braids, color, women's services and hair prostheses.
The goal is simple: reduce uncertainty before the customer ever reaches the barber.
SOMA prepared HN for Google discovery through:
SOMA also designed an AI booking-assistant foundation around one principle:
Understand → Match → Action
Instead of behaving like a generic chatbot, the system is designed to understand the customer's need, recommend relevant verified options and move the customer toward the appropriate next action.
Public customer information and internal administrative data were intentionally separated.
This allows HN to create a useful customer-facing experience without unnecessarily exposing internal business information.

Search Console verification, sitemap submission and indexing requests were completed at launch so Google could crawl and understand the new site. The result is a single official destination — hnbarberstudio.com — attached to the studio's business listing, reviews and contact options.
Good digital systems hide complexity from the customer.
Different artists, services, schedules and booking methods exist behind the scenes. The customer's experience should still feel obvious.

HN Barber Studio now has a centralized digital destination where customers can discover the business, understand its artists and move directly toward booking.
The studio is live under its official branded domain, connected to Google's search infrastructure and structured around the real way its team operates.
Rather than replacing each barber's individual business process, SOMA connected those processes into one customer-facing experience.
HN now operates under hnbarberstudio.com.
Every artist can be discovered individually without losing connection to the larger studio.
Customers are routed toward actual booking and contact methods instead of fabricated availability.
Search infrastructure was established to help Google discover, crawl and understand the new website.
This case study documents HN Barber Studio's launch transformation.
SOMA does not manufacture performance numbers before enough data exists.
Search impressions, website traffic, user behavior, booking interactions and local-search performance will be evaluated over the next 30, 60 and 90 days.
This case study will be updated as measurable results develop.
A website going live is not the end of the project.
It creates the infrastructure required to begin measuring and improving the customer journey.
Future opportunities for HN include:
SOMA starts with the business.
We study how customers discover, trust, buy, book, communicate and return.
Then we determine where software, automation, AI and better digital experiences can remove friction.
HN Barber Studio is an example of that philosophy in practice.
The website was the interface. The real product was the system behind it.
It may need a better system.
If customers are getting lost between discovery, contact, booking and follow-up, SOMA can help identify where the experience is breaking down and design a better path forward.
